BESTeam Quartet

This past weekend, after over a month of "trash talking", a few of my friends/co-workers and I had a Christmas decoration contest.  We had a great time having our decorating skills put to the test and indulging in food and holiday movies afterwards.  When the party ended I was thinking about how I had just finished decorating days before the contest and will have to be taking those same decorations down in a very short time.  Where has the time gone?!

I'll be finishing up the next two days of work before packing up and heading home for our family festivities.  Although, it's a little too late to add items to my wishlist, I have decided to share some items I would love to have in my stocking!

I love the smell of brown sugar.  Whether it be baking cookies or one of my favorite lotions, the smell of brown sugar is one of my favorites.  This soap from Sandy Vern would be the perfect addition to my stocking!  Sandy has a variety of soaps, stitch markers and earrings to offer.

I've gained a liking for owls.  The popular bird has been popping up in several places and I would love to have this gorgeous necklace as an accent to my earth-toned wardrobe.  This owl is in good company amongst a beautiful variety of oriental inspired pieces at Blue & White Wear

I've seen people wear beanies and make them look so awesome.  I'm not sure I could pull the look off, but I love this beanie.  I especially love the mustard color - it is one of my absolute favorite fall/winter colors.  An assortment of knit accessories and adorable felt bows can be found at Knitful Dezigns .

As the people closest to me know, I am insistent on giving cards for major holidays and some time just because.  I treasure the cards with handwritten messages in them.  That is why this card, or any card, from Empty on the Inside would be perfect for me!

BESTeam Trio

No shade, no shine, no butterflies, no bees, No fruits, no flowers, no leaves, no birds - November! ~Thomas Hood, "No!"

November is here in full force and today the Illinois Valley saw it's first glimpses of snow. I am NOT ready for this despite the fact I have been having an internal battle over whether I should start decorating for Christmas or stick to my guns and wait til after Thanksgiving. I've always loved fall with the changing colors of leaves, bonfires, and being able to throw on a hooded sweatshirt and go. You can embrace the colors of fall all year with these great BESTeam products!

Veronica in sunny Florida is the woman behind Knitful Dezigns where you can find everyday items designed to make life more enjoyable. Her love of art can be seen in her beautiful creations. Be on the lookout for a new plush doll collection coming soon.

EMBER Hand Painted Silk Ruana Deep Red, Warm Brown & Sienna.
If you love art, but are hesitant to spend money on a piece that will hang on your wall and may blend in after a while. The perfect solution is a hand-painted silk scarf created by Joy of Joyflower. In 1989, Joy began painting scarves and you can see the superior quality and experience in each piece

Kristine of KC Dragonfly creates handmade goth and cosplay accessories. Her mission is to bring quality, hand-crafted designs with the hope that the owner will find inspiration in their KC Dragonfly item. I wish the leaves were still the vibrant colors of this bottle collar!

BESTeam Feature :: Knitful Dezigns

When you hear of a student pilot with an ambition of studying aeronautical engineering do you picture that person also having an Etsy shop full of knit creations? That is just what Veronica Grace of Knitful Dezigns does! After my failed attempt at beginning knitting myself I have an immense amount of respect for anyone that can knit. And Veronica certainly can.

Knitful Dezigns has everything from hats and headbands to a robins nest. A lot of the creativity behind Veronica's creations is inspired by music with favoritism being given to the swing genre. You may even notice some of the products found at Knitful Dezigns are named after some of Veronica's favorite songs. I love this as music is something that I love and will listen to as I am creating my projects :)

Here is a sampling of products found at Knitful Dezigns:
Muddy Delight Headband

Mug warmer, hand protector

Cute hat for toddler's
